Local Chambers

Colorado's economy is supported by local chambers of commerce that are the economic drivers of their respective communities.

Through CACI, local chambers can achieve more for their members by amplifying their voice at the State Capitol and in the state's regulatory agencies.

We are proud of our partnership with local chambers of commerce across Colorado and with the Western Association of Chamber Executives

Local chamber partners include:

The Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry (CACI) announced its Chamber of Commerce Special Achievement Awards at the Colorado Chamber of Commerce Executives (CCCE) Summit of the Chambers in Golden last week.

The Government Affairs Award was given by CACI President and former Speaker of the House Chuck Berry to the Greenwood Village Chamber of Commerce for its efforts in advocacy using social media and their website to bring business issues and information to the attention of their members. Accepting for the Greenwood Village Chamber was Mark Crowley, President and CEO. “We are honored to accept the first Government Affairs Award and with CACI’s help we will continue to educate our members on important legislative issues.”

The next award was the Communications Award for smaller chambers. It was presented to the Aspen, Basalt, Glenwood Springs and Rifle Chambers for a collaborative effort to encourage its communities to shop locally. They accomplished this by running radio ads in each community with each Chamber Executive informing residents how shopping locally is good for their economy.

The Communications Award for large chambers was a tie with the Boulder Chamber and the Colorado Women’s Chamber sharing the honors. The Boulder Chamber won for rebranding efforts including its new tagline, “For a Bolder business community.” The Colorado Women’s Chamber won for its entry of creating and improving an entire media network this year.

The Special Achievement Award was given to the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association for its development of a new event called the Steamboat All Arts Festival. The new event was undertaken to promote the diverse arts in the community as well as showcasing nationally renowned artists at a traditionally slow time of the year. Accepting the trophy was Sandy Evans Hall, Executive Vice President of the Steamboat Chamber and President of CCCE, “I am so proud of the work of the staff of the Steamboat Chamber in putting on two new events in this challenging year. And I am especially pleased to accept this award for the All Arts Festival.”

Sandy then presented the President’s Award to Amy Sherman, President & CEO of the West Chamber Serving Jefferson County for her dedication, commitment, continued assistance and willingness to help not only CCCE but other Chambers as well. “The President’s Award means a lot to me in a year of challenges for the business community and the chamber industry. It is an honor to work with CACI and the wonderful chamber executives and staff around Colorado.”

“As the state chamber of commerce, CACI appreciates its long-standing relationship with the local chambers,” said Dave Tabor, Vice President of Membership. “We were pleased to recognize their hard work and congratulate their successes.”
